The St. Albans Good Friday Association Inc. commemorates Good Friday at St. Paul’s Church, Kealba, in the Western suburbs of Melbourne every year. This Maltese committee organises the celebrations both within the church and the pageant that follows afterwards. Other local Maltese committees take part in the procession. Individual committees also provide a statue associated with Good Friday. The St. Albans Melita Band accompanies the procession. This event attracts quite a large crowd. It is also broadcasted on 3ZZZ. Commentators include Miriam Vella and Emmanuel Brincat. Refreshments and traditional Maltese food are also available.
