I can´t believe anyone (Maltese) would have such a negative comment about Malta. I think Malta is such a beautifull Island and the Maltese people are so friendly to all the Tourists. So please stop bellyaching about the negative thinks about the Island. Give credit to all that work so hard in keeping Malta so beautifull. .................... |

Just came back from Gozo to see the festa.it was one of the best. The only problem too many people as if the whole of Malta descented on Xaghra!
Everytime I go back I noticed the ever increasing ammount of cars.Victoria in Gozo is no longer a pleasure.I just pray that the saying´ yells, smells and bells´ won´t stay in the 21st. century. Please lets hope that we don´t lose everthing after materialism! |

I have just returned from a visit to Malta and although I was happy to be there ,visiting relatives and friends,I can not but be sad at the condition the country is in .Many things need to be improved and FAST such as capital works programe to improve the country´s infrastructor ,Road ,Water Sewerage System ,Electricity(which when I was there was increased by 95% ) and MANNERS in regards to the way tourists are treated they are the life blood of Malta and unfortunatlly greed and ripoffs are in abundance in Malta. While politicians are playing politics the country suffers.Pollution is a major problem ,in this case I point to antiquiated public trandsport vehicles ,need I say bus which spew out tons of toxic exchaust along with thousands of privately owned cars and truck. Illegal burning of rubbish ,oil /desiel leaks from cars and boats and the hiddious dust from fields, quarries and of course the rubbish which people themselves through away out of sight out of !
mind mentallity.COME MALTA YOU"RE LIVING IN THE 21st CENTENARY NOW NOT THE 1900s |
