The Maltese Connections Project was launched at Victoria University on Sunday 25th February 2007 by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Elizabeth Harman. Special guests included the newly appointed High Commissioner for the Republic of Malta, Hon. Francis Tabone, Ms. Angele Azzopardi, the Maltese Consul-General in Melbourne and Mr. George Saliba, Vice-President of the Maltese Community Council of Victoria.
