Mikieli Bajada (tal-Merina/Dr. Borg’s father) migrated to Australia in 1947. He settled in the western suburbs of Sydney. He returned to Malta /Gozo in 1949 and went back to Australia for a holiday in 1976. He died in Malta on the 16th October, 1980.
Karmnu Teuma (tal-Gropplu) migrated to Australia in 1927. He settled in Queensland to harvest the sugar cane.
Guzepp Galea (tal-Kaxxet) migrated to Australia in 1947 with Mikieli Bajada . He settled in Queensland to harvest the sugar cane. He died on the 31st March, 1990.
Karmnu (ta’ Plejlu) who was born on the 12th September 1920, migrated to Australia in 1949. Initially he went to Sydney. But later on he went to Queensland to harvest the cane. Karmnu is still alive.
