The feast of St. John the Baptist was celebrated at the Holy Eucharist Church in St. Albans. The main celebrant of the mass was Fr. John Tagliana, M.S.S.P.. The Philippino Choir accompanied the mass with holy hymns. At the end of the mass, Mr. Sam Tabone, President of St. John the Baptist Association was presented with a medal as a recognition of his deep commitments to this association for these last 25 years. After mass a procession took place around the nearby streets with the statue of  St. John the Baptist. Two Maltese brass bands also took part in the procession along with other Maltese associations with their banners. After the procession there was a great display of fireworks. The entertainment continued in the hall as the bands continued to play. This was followed by disco music.
