A mass in honour of St. Peter and St. Paul was held at St. Bernadette’s Community Centre, Cooke Avenue North Sunshine. Fr. John Magri assisted by Emmanuel Farrugia and Mario Genius celebrated the mass. The Maltese Choir of Victoria accompanied the mass with solemn hymns. After the mass the procession with the statue of St. Peter and St. Paul took place accompanied by the Maltese Own Band Phil. Soc. Inc.. The members of the Order of St. Peter and St. Paul joined in the procession along with other Maltese associations with their banners. A social get-together was held afterwards at the Maltese Cultural Centre in Albion. A bus from Sydney also came for the various celebrations of the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul.
